Ben Goschnick has joined Qatar Airways as an account manager on the leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) sales team, covering the Victorian and Tasmanian markets.
Based in Melbourne, Goschnick’s new role will focus on building relationships with customers to grow business for the Gulf carrier.
Ben joins Qatar Airways after nearly four years at small group travel company G Adventures, where he plied his trade as a global purpose specialist and then as business development manager for the NSW and ACT markets.
Prior to that, Goschnick honed his skills in product and sales roles at Latin American travel specialist Chimu Adventures.

Goschnick will focus on growing Qatar Airways’ leisure markets in Victoria and Tasmania.
“I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at G Adventures for the opportunities, friendships, and experiences over the years,” Ben said in a message announcing the move.
“It’s been a privilege to be part of a company that’s so passionate about changing lives through travel.”
Looking ahead, Goschnick said he was excited about “building new relationships, supporting our valued travel trade partners and representing one of the world’s leading airlines”.
“If you’re in the travel industry across Victoria or Tasmania, I’d love to connect and catch up soon,” he stated.

Qatar Airways was voted World’s Best Airline at Skytrax’s most recent World Airline Awards, while AirlineRatings named Qatar the world’s best full-service carrier of 2026.
The airline recently boosted its Australian capacity, increasing frequency across multiple Aussie routes, including Melbourne and Canberra.
