Silverstone is poised to once again host the Qatar Airways British Grand Prix MotoGP™ next weekend.
Long regarded as a rider favourite and the stage for some of the fiercest battles in MotoGP, the circuit is preparing to welcome fans for another unmissable weekend of racing.
Flying the flag for British fans is the appearance of British rider Cal Crutchlow, who will will continue his stand-in role for the injured Johann Zarco in Castrol Honda LCR colours at this year’s Qatar Airways British Grand Prix MotoGP™.
Crutchlow last competed at his beloved home circuit in 2021 with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP, while his last full-time appearance came in 2019, where he claimed sixth place. “Racing at Silverstone is always something special,” Cal said, “Every home Grand Prix means a little bit more because you know there are so many fans, and it’s a great feeling to race in front of them.
“The atmosphere is incredible, and that extra support gives you additional motivation. Silverstone is one of the most enjoyable and technical tracks on the calendar, and I’ve had some really nice memories there over the years. I’m excited to be back this year!”

This year’s event welcomes the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup, the world’s first global racing series dedicated exclusively to high-performance Harley-Davidson bagger motorcycles delivering a striking blend of American V-twin character and iconic Harley Davidson style.
When the racing finishes, the party starts, with live entertainment each night. General Levy performs on Friday, followed by James Toseland – the former WSBK and MotoGP rider turned musician – on Saturday, and Rick Parfitt Jr. rounding things off on Sunday.
