%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20<p>As part of Qatar’s ongoing efforts to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the competitiveness of the business sector, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) and Qatar Development Bank (QDB), and supported by ecosystem enablers Ooredoo and Qatar Post, hosted SMEs Go Digital “Connect” on Tuesday. </p><p>The event aimed to support the readiness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt digital solutions and strengthen their contribution to the national digital economy, in line with the Digital Agenda 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030.</p><p>The event brought together more than 195 SMEs alongside over 20 digital solution providers through a unified platform that facilitated direct engagement between businesses and accredited technology providers, supporting wider adoption of digital technologies and enhancing SMEs’ readiness for digital transformation.</p><p>SME Go Digital “Connect” focuses on priority sectors including retail and wholesale, transport and storage, tourism, education, and healthcare. The showcased digital solutions covers areas such as online presence, e-commerce, and cloud services, supporting the adoption of digital technologies across the targeted sectors.</p><p>The event also featured direct matchmaking sessions between businesses and digital solution providers, as well as dedicated networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities, helping strengthen collaboration among participating entities and expand the adoption of digital solutions across priority sectors.</p><p>Faraj Jassim Abdulla, Director of Digital Economy Department at MCIT, said: “MCIT continues its efforts to empower SMEs to leverage digital technologies as a key driver for competitiveness and sustainable economic growth.
